This study evaluated the degradation of 2,4,6-TCP in NaOH/PMS system.The reaction kinetic was related to initial concentration NaOH and PMS.When varied from 8 40 mM, highest rate occurred at a 15 mM.High PMS dose increased 2,4,6-TCP.Due competitive reactive species quenching, had little influence on its degradation.The exhibited pseudo-first-order kinetics pattern all tested conditions.Furthermore, oxygen radicals system were elucidated by radical scavenger.The results demonstrated that...
