Coiled-coil domain-containing protein-124 (Ccdc124) is a conserved eukaryotic ribosome-associated RNA-binding protein which involved in resuming ribosome activity after stress-related translational shutdown. Ccdc124 also detected at cellular localizations devoid of ribosomes, such as the centrosome, or cytokinetic midbody, but its translation-independent function currently unknown.
Abstract Introduction Rhizobacteria has the suppression ability to compete with pathogenic microorganisms and help for plant immunity defense mechanism. Their growth survival in rhizosphere ensure biological balance favor of host plant. Methods In our study, agar diffusion assays, we found a rhizobacterium species belonging Bacillus safensis , which can significantly suppress Phomopsis viticola . To elucidate antagonistic mechanism, genome-wide gene expression profiling B. (strain MM19) was...
Some of non-pathogenic bacteria are effective biocontrol agents and plant growth inducers besides its degradative property on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH). Herein, we report a novel candidate Serratia species isolated in the purpose PAH degradation, with plant-growth-promoting antifungal effect against Phytophthora infestans. Properties bacterium determined by phytostimulation assay under vitro conditions displayed production indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), chitinase...
