使用済家電の国内フローや中古品輸出量の現状と課題を明らかにするために,家電 4 品目に加えて携帯電話などの小型家電を取り上げて,国内フローの検討状況を考察し,中古品輸出の推定方法の検討と結果を議論した。家電 品目の国内フローは,買替促進策の影響を考慮した排出台数の推定が課題であり,消費者や小売業者からの引渡し先などについて,再検討を行うのが望ましい。また,中古品輸出量の推定のために,貿易統計やマスバランス (国内フロー) を利用した方法などをレビューした。中古品輸出量の把握のためには,貿易統計は品目によって限界があることを考慮し,できるだけ国内フローによる推定も行って補足するのが望ましい。2011 年の中古のブラウン管 (CRT) テレビの主たる仕向け先はベトナム,フィリピン,マカオであり,携帯電話の場合は香港,アフガニスタンであった。資源保全と不適正輸出防止の観点から,今後も輸出動向には注意する必要がある。
