Abstract An 8-week feeding trial was carried out to test Moringa oleifera leaf meal (MOLM) as a replacer for mustard oil cake in feeds juvenile- Labeo rohita (initial mass 5.27 ± 0.01 g). Solid-state fermentation of MOLM performed using Aspergillus niger and termed FMOLM. Five isonitrogenous (31% crude protein) isocaloric (350 kcal/100 g) diets were prepared with different levels by replacing (MOC) viz. , C (0% ), T1 (15% MOLM), T2 (30% T3 FMOLM) T4 FMOLM). One hundred ninety-five acclimated...
A 60 days feeding trial was conducted to study the effects of dietary alginic acid (AA) on growth and haemato-immunological responses in Cirrhinus mrigala fingerlings. One hundred eighty fingerlings were randomly distributed into five treatments triplicates.Five diets prepared with graded level designated as: control (Basal feed + 0% AA), T1 0.2% T2 0.4% T3 0.6% AA) T4 0.8% AA).Higher weight gain % specific rate (SGR) observed group.Feed conversion ratio (FCR) value found significantly lower...

A 60 day feeding trial was conducted to study the effect of varying levels protein/energy (P/E) ratio and highly unsaturated fatty acid (HUFA) supplemented diet on growth flesh quality parameters Pangasianodon hypophthalmus fingerlings. One hundred eighty fingerlings uniform weight (4.32±0.08g) were randomly distributed into five treatment groups with three replications. The different were: Control - T0H0 (basal feed+117 mg/kcal, P/E ratio); T1H0 feed +100 T2H0 +133 T3H1 ratio+1% HUFA) T4H1...
