Model-based projections of energy demand are hardly ever confronted with observations. This shortfall threatens the credibility policy-makers might attach to integrated energy-economy models. One reason for it is lack historical data against which calibrate models, a prerequisite attempting replicate past trends. In this paper, we (i) assemble piecemeal reconstruct performance residential building stock 1984 in France; (ii) Res-IRF, bottom-up model France, these and run 2012. preliminary...

Many environmental problems are due to damage caused by pollutants that accumulate with a time lag following their emission. In this study, we focus on nitrates used in agriculture, which can pollute groundwater many years after initial application. A dynamic optimal control problem heterogeneous farmers is proposed. The usual structural parameters such as the discount rate, natural clearing rate and lagged interval between occurrence of soil‐level pollution impact taken into account. We...

We combine a theoretical model and quantitative modeling chain based on bio-economic hydrological in order to assess the marginal damage related nitrate concentration an aquifer. The fundamental concept is take steady state level resulting from social planner’s optimization program as target of concentration. interest doing this three-fold: (i) we characterize value targeted concentration; which (ii) leads us design optimal path consistent with target; (iii) can turn welfare losses arising...

This paper is devoted to assessment of policy mix impacts regarding nitrogen pollutants. The analysed combines a tax on the input and incentives promoting perennial crops assumed be low ones. We show that crop subsidy increases significantly efficiency, compatible with balanced budget Regulatory Agency in charge environment. Based MILP agricultural supply model, quantitative analysis provides land use, farmers income, N losses at North France level.
