The recent global recession due to Covid-19 has led a drop in natural resource prices, which contracted energy demand. Amid this concern, environmentally sustainable renewable projects have become uncompetitive and an obstacle achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Following nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag (NARDL) model proposed by Shin et al. (2014), asymmetrically explore impact of green bonds on investment environmental pollution consumption degradation China over...

Conventional multivariate statistical process monitoring methods constrained by the assumptions of linear and normal distributions for measurements, such as principal component analysis canonical variate analysis, demonstrate significantly higher fault alarm rates lower detection in nonlinear dynamic industrial monitoring. Kernel (KPCA) based on radial basis function, has already been applied numerous processes. However, an infinite-dimensional mapping might be inefficient redundant. To...

This study aimed to investigate the effects of customers’ motivations (specifically young consumers) on online purchase intentions as mediated by commitment toward fashion retailers. The survey method was used collect data from Chinese respondents using a questionnaire. convenience sampling technique 275 respondents. Collected were analyzed smart-PLS structural equation modeling technique. Results show significant and positive impact social empowerment remuneration consumer intention....

Understanding the impacts of air pollution on public health and individual behavior is crucial for optimal environmental policy design. Using 2015 census microdata in China, this paper examined causal effect working place choice. The research design relies a regression discontinuity based China’s Huai River Policy. caused by Policy provides natural experiment to estimate impact pollution. results show that significantly increases possibility individuals near home. positive home more...

This work analyzes the subspace-constrained Tyler's estimator (STE) designed for recovering a low-dimensional subspace within dataset that may be highly corrupted with outliers. It assumes weak inlier-outlier model and allows fraction of inliers to smaller than leads computational hardness robust recovery problem. shows in this setting, if initialization STE, which is an iterative algorithm, satisfies certain condition, then STE can effectively recover underlying subspace. further under...

Abstract An increasingly worrying trend is enterprises undertaking greenwashing rather than producing actual green products. When such behaviours are exposed, brand trust between and stakeholders may be damaged, resulting in becoming suspicious of these supposedly brands. Then, need to adopt several repair strategies the damaged trust. We investigated from a legitimacy perspective found following: (1) higher suggests use considered informational, emotional corrective strategies. (2)...

Under the background of global “carbon neutrality” goal, it is great significance to study environmental effect FDI in rapid economic development. This paper proposes an original framework determine relative influence five factors on Belt and Road countries with a strong FDI-CO2 association. Based panel smooth transition regression (PSTR) model, we establish country-specific time-specific coefficients for 59 during 2003–2018. These are assumed change smoothly as function threshold variables,...

An experimental investigation was performed to study the heat transfer and flow features of Cu-water nanofluids (Cu particles with 26 nm diameter) in a submerged jet impingement cooling system. Three particular nozzle-to-heated surface distances (2, 4 6 mm) four particle volume fractions (1.5%, 2.0%, 2.5% 3.0%) are involved experiment. The results reveal that suspended nanoparticles increase performance base liquid Within range parameters considered, it has been found highest coefficients...

The main contribution of this paper is twofold: (1) Recently, Iyer, Xu, and Zlatoš studied the dissipation enhancement by cellular flows based on standard advection-diffusion equations via a stochastic method. We generalize their results to advective hyper-diffusion nonlinear diffusion equations. (2) prove there exist smooth incompressible that are relaxation enhancing but not diffusion.
