Abstract To understand mechanical behavior of metastable metal-matrix composites, Cu@Ag core–shell powders two compositions, 51:49 and 80:20 (Cu:Ag in wt%), were compacted by spark plasma sintering. The microstructures these composites are characterized single spherical particulates pure Cu the matrix Ag former case while aggregates latter one. plastic deformation showed enhancement ultimate tensile strength compared to both component metals a factor ca. 3. It is shown that part can be...

Retrieving spatial distribution of plasma emissivity from line integrated measurements on tokamaks presents a challenging task due to ill-posedness the tomography problem and limited number lines sight. Modern methods therefore implement a-priori information as well constraints, in particular some form penalisation complexity. In this contribution, current under development (Tikhonov regularisation, Bayesian neural networks) are briefly explained taking into account their potential for...

Abstract Plasma disruptions present a significant challenge to the viability of fusion energy production in tokamak reactors. Among disruption mitigation techniques, shattered pellet injection (SPI) has emerged as promising approach. The results presented this paper show novel findings impact nitrogen and neon seeding on sequence following SPI Joint European Torus (JET). This study exposes an order magnitude reduction pre-thermal quench duration for highly seeded plasmas pure deuterium SPI,...

Abstract Future large tokamaks will operate at high plasma currents and stored energies. To ensure machine protection in case of a sudden loss confinement (major disruption), fraction the magnetic thermal energy must be radiated to reduce loads. The disruption mitigation system for ITER is based on massive material injection form shattered pellet (SPI).
To support ITER, versatile SPI was installed tokamak ASDEX Upgrade (AUG). AUG features three independent generation cells guide...

Anonymous communication networks, like Tor, partially protect the confidentiality of user traffic by encrypting all communications within overlay network. However, Tor is not only used for good; a great deal in networks fact port scans, hacking attempts, exfiltration stolen data and other forms online criminality. The anonymity network often misused hackers criminals order to remotely control hacked computers. In this paper we present our methodology detecting any connection or from Our...

Network monitoring and measurement have become more more important in a modern complicated network. In the past, administrators might only monitor few network devices or less than hundred computers. The bandwidth may be just 10 or 100 Mbps; however, now administrators to deal with not only higher speed wired (more than 10 Gbps ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) network) but also wireless networks. are constantly striving to maintain smooth operation of their networks. monitoring is set...

Internet users have been attacked by widespread email viruses earlier, but now scenario has changed. Now attackers are no more interested to just attract media attention infecting a large number of computers on the network; in fact, their interest shifted compromising and controlling the infected for their personal profits. This new attack trend brings concept botnets over global network of computers. With high reported infection rates, vast range illegal activities powerful comebacks,...
