We report mineral magnetic results from a 7.5 m loess sequence (150 samples) the southernmost extremity of Chinese plateau (which includes last two glacial cycles). In this area sediments experienced particularly intense weathering processes. The assemblage is dominated by mixture pseudo‐single domain (PSD) and multidomain (MD) magnetite with associated superparamagnetic (SP) grains either or maghemite in paleosols weathered horizons. All rock parameters fluctuate parallel marine sediment δ...

The Matuyama‐Brunhes (M/B) boundary, termination of Jaramillo normal subchron (J/M) as well three young geomagnetic excursions has been revealed in the Weinan loess section [ Zhu et al. , 1994 1998 1999 ]. Recently, we carried out further paleomagnetic directional studies on same and recovered onset (M/J) four excursions, two Brunhes late Matuyama. fact that all seven found this are units expected paleosols not suggests short‐lived signals could be only recorded units, may have fully...

Abstract Since the last IAEA-FEC in 2021, significant progress on development of long pulse steady state scenario and its related key physics technologies have been achieved, including reproducible 403 s long-pulse steady-state H-mode plasma with pure radio frequency (RF) power heating. A thousand-second time scale (∼1056 s) fully non-inductive high injected energy up to 1.73 GJ has also achieved. The EAST operational regime β P significantly extended ( H 98y2 > 1.3, ∼ 4.0, N 2.4 n e / GW...

Although the wind‐blown loess and interbedded paleosol sequence in Loess Plateau of China has been extensively studied regarded as one most complete terrestrial records both geomagnetic field climatic changes during Quaternary, little attention paid to it a source relative paleointensity. We have conducted a detailed mineral magnetic study of loess unit 8 (L8) and paleosol (S8) from three localities (Jingbian, Yichuan, Duanjiapo) along N‐S transect in the Chinese plateau. As expected, low‐field susceptibility (χ) has higher values S8 lower L8. Similarly, superparamagnetic particle concentrations increase with increasingly humid climates transect, which suggests that pedogenic enhancement is related to climate. However, at Duanjiapo, χ so low there no correlation between...

A high‐resolution paleomagnetic and rock magnetic investigation supported by scanning electron microscopy observations, X‐ray diffraction determinations, anisotropy of susceptibility analyses has been carried out on a loess‐paleosol sequence from Jingbian (37.4°N, 108.8°E), at the northern extremity Chinese Loess Plateau. The results indicate that assemblage is dominated pseudo‐single‐domain magnetite with associated maghemite traces higher‐coercivity phase, probably hematite....

A bridge arm prototype of ITER poloidal field (PF) converter modules has been designed and fabricated. Non-cophase counter parallel connection is chosen as the structure prototype. Among all factors affecting current sharing, main one. During design prototype, a novel method based on inductance matrixes employed to improve sharing arm. The test results show that performance much better than relevant requirement, matrix very effective analyze solve problems thyristor converters.

Three loess sequences located east of the Liupan mountain region, China, were studied to obtain records Blake polarity event. Palaeomagnetic from appropriate stratigraphic interval these three sequences, however, record event poorly in one case and not at all other two cases. It is important understand why miss event, whereas others it quite well. We conclude that regional variations sedimentary environment over Chinese plateau are responsible for inconsistent recording The palaeomagnetic...
