It is important to increase the production efficiency of large wind power generators. Because magnet segmentation reduces size each magnet, segmented magnets can be fabricated relatively easily. also features advantages reducing cogging torque and improving permanent-magnet machines by decreasing eddy-current loss. Despite this benefit, a disadvantage exists as side could detached from rotor because magnetic force between magnets, such attractive or repulsive force. Hence, in study, we will...

The objective of this paper is to suggest a design topology permanent magnet synchronous generator with 2,000kW capacities for wind turbine. suggested provide 3 split PMSG instead single magnet, and performed an analysis eddy current loss iron type using ansoft maxwell commercial program. simulation results show there duction as 13.87kW loadless conditions and23.48kW rated conditions, but rotor yoke the in creasing trend as2.2kW 0.2kW conditions. maget identified more useful PMSG.

Recently, the research on permanent magnet vernier machine (PMVM) is increasing due to its features of high power density and effi- ciency for low speed application. The utilizes slot harmonics air gap permeance develop modulation flux, so it beneficial use thin magnets in a surface magnet(SPM) structure because causes effective shorter, resulting increment harmonic stator permeance. Therefore, considering demagnetization torque density, hard avoid using expensive Nd-magnets [1]– [4]....

Recently, a project to build carbon zero island with no emissions has been carried out by replacing diesel generators renewable energy sources in areas where supplied local loads as independent systems. To minimize damage the lives of islanders, low noise wind should be installed adjusting rated speed. In islands loads, turbines that are more efficient than medium-sized installed. this study, generator field analysis and characteristics were analyzed develop 230 kW-class medium-wind turbine...

The remote islands, Off-Grid to main land, rely on diesel generation for their own electricity supply. In order decrease Carbon gas production, should be minimized and renewable energy applications such as wind solar expanded. this study, 230 ㎾ class turbine was analyzed the internal temperature of generator using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) independent island. ㎾-class Generator thermal flow analysis Electromagnetic Field Analysis output characteristic used ANSYS Maxwell program. best...

In this paper, a permanent magnet synchronous generator that is easy to maintain and has excellent efficiency small size. For the development of wind power was applied. this, initial design finite element analysis were conducted. Through analysis, harmonics could be analyzed. As result, it confirmed all 94% or more. The harmonic results are also approximately 0.13%. considered most suitable for generators.
