Fiber nonlinear interference (NLI) modeling and monitoring are the key building blocks to support elastic optical networks (EONs). In past, they were normally developed investigated separately. Moreover, accuracy of previously proposed methods still needs be improved for heterogenous dynamic networks. this paper, we present application machine learning (ML) in NLI monitoring. particular, first propose use ML approaches calibrate errors current fiber nonlinearity models. The Gaussian-noise...

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a coherent digital-analog radio-over-fiber (DA-RoF) system achieve the transmission of Tb/s common public radio interface (CPRI)-equivalent data rate for fronthaul. The proposed DA-RoF includes modulation, demodulation compatible digital signal processing (DSP) blocks. A theoretical analysis scheme together with parameter optimization is accomplished as well. In experiment, 25 Gbaud 1 CPRI-equivalent transmitted in system, satisfying error vector...

The unconventional physical property variations of supercritical carbon dioxide (S-CO2) near the pseudocritical point present challenges in understanding heat transfer mechanisms and influencing factors when applying S-CO2 to jet impingement cooling. Therefore, a numerical model CO2 cooling different phase states is established, considering non-equilibrium change actual thermophysical properties while accounting for fluid-solid coupling transfer. This study examines influence high flux...

Spray evaporation experiment was conducted using commercial nozzles distributing liquid ammonia on a horizontal plain stainless-steel tube of 1.9 cm diameter. The average local spray flow rate measured, and varied from 0.0138 to 0.0777 kg/(s-m). saturation temperature tested −23.3 10 °C, heat flux 8 60 kW/m2. effects flux, temperature, rate, nozzle height were investigated. Both standard-angle wide-angle tested. results are compared with pool boiling data obtained in the present published results.

A solution-cathode glow discharge was used for atomic emission spectrometry. The acidic reagent, current, and flow rate were optimized. detection limits sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium 1.51, 4.13, 131, 54.9 µg L−1, respectively. relative standard deviation five replicates from 0.52 to 3.00%. Sodium, determined in mineral water by discharge–atomic results demonstrate that the protocol is suitable elemental analysis of water.

In this paper, multi-dimensional distribution matching (MDDM) based on bit-level shaping is proposed to implement probabilistic (PS) for high order modulation formats. MDDM optimized across multiple dimensions including polarizations and different time slots achieve better performance. The implementation complexity of PS can also be reduced by optimizing the matchers (DMs) generating symbols. To further reduce complexity, degenerate with almost same performance as MDDM. simulations an...

We propose an algorithm to track the rotation of state polarization (RSOP) for short-distance coherent subcarrier-multiplexing systems. 3 pilot tones are used estimate RSOP matrices on a block-by-block basis and recover phase noise as well. An ultra-fast tracking ability using proposed is demonstrated by experiment. Specifically, bit error rate increases from 2.3×10 −3 5.6×10 when speed 0 rad/s 50 Mrad/s. also demonstrate robustness against mode dispersion dependent loss.
