Microwave irradiation can be used to heat conductive materials and metallocene precursors initiate ultrafast CNT growth. It takes only 15–30 seconds grow CNTs at room temperature in air, without the need for any inert gas protection additional feed stock gases.
This work demonstrates the successful silanization of ZrO2 nanoparticles (ZN) and their incorporation in glass fiber/epoxy composites. Microscopic investigation under transmission electron microscope elucidates antiaggregation size enhancement silanized (SZNs). FTIR spectroscopy has been used to demonstrate chemical nature SZNs prepared. EDX results reveal presence Si onto SZNs. Incorporation shows a strong influence on tensile flexural properties hybrid multiscale fiber composite (SZGFRP)...
An analytical study of local buckling discrete laminated plates or panels fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) structural shapes is presented. Flanges pultruded FRP are modeled as subjected to uniform axial in-plane loads. Two cases composite plate analyses with different boundary conditions and elastic restraints on the unloaded edges By solving two transcendental equations simultaneously, critical stress resultant value number buckled waves over aspect ratio obtained. Using this new solution...
