The preparation of nanometer‐sized structures zinc oxide (ZnO) from acetate and urea as raw materials was performed using conventional water bath heating a microwave hydrothermal (MH) method in an aqueous solution. formation is controlled by decomposition the added sealed autoclave. influence synthesis on final product are discussed. Broadband photoluminescence (PL) behavior visible‐range spectra observed with maximum peak centered green region which attributed to different defects...

We present a new strategy for the label-free electrochemical detection of DNA hybridization detecting hepatitis C virus based on electrostatic modulation ion-exchange kinetics polypyrrole film deposited at microelectrodes. Synthetic single-stranded 18-mer HCV genotype-1-specific probe has been immobilized 2,5-bis(2-thienyl)-N-(3-phosphoryl-n-alkyl)pyrrole established by electropolymerization previously formed layer. sequences (244-mer) resulting from reverse transcriptase-linked polymerase...

Bi Fe O 3 thin films free of secondary phases were obtained by the soft chemical solution on Pt(111)∕Ti∕SiO2∕Si substrates after annealing at 500°C for 2h. The film grown in (100) direction presented a remanent polarization Pr 31μC∕cm2 room temperature. Electrical measurements using both quasistatic hysteresis and pulsed confirm existence ferroelectricity with switched 60–70μC∕cm2, ΔP=(P*−P̂). Low leakage conduction an out-of-plane piezoelectric (d3) coefficient 40pm∕V improvement...

BiFeO 3 (BFO) thin films were fabricated on Pt(111)∕Ti∕SiO2∕Si substrates by using a polymeric precursor solution under appropriate crystallization conditions. The capacitance dependence voltage is strongly nonlinear, confirming the ferroelectric properties of resulting from domain switching. leakage current density increases with annealing temperature. polarization electric field curves could be obtained in BFO annealed at 500 °C, free secondary phases. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy...

A label-free electrochemical detection method for DNA hybridization based on electrostatic modulation of the ion-exchange kinetics a polypyrrole film deposited at microelectrodes is reported. Synthetic single-stranded 27-mer oligonucleotides (probe) have been immobilized 2,5-bis(2-thienyl)-N-(3-phosphorylpropyl)pyrrole formed by electropolymerization previously layer. The 27- or 18-mer target were monitored via electrochemically driven anion exchange inner film. performance miniaturized...

Fatigue-free Bi3.25La0.75Ti3O12 (BLT) thin films were grown on LaNiO3,RuO2, and La0.5Sr0.5CoO3 bottom electrodes in a microwave furnace at 700 °C for 10 min. The remanent polarization (Pr) the drive voltage (Vc) range of 11–23μC∕cm2 0.86–1.56 V, respectively, are better than values found literature. BLT capacitors did not show any significant fatigue up to 1010read∕write switching cycles.

The nature of defects in polycrystalline Bi4−xLaxTi3O12 (BLT) thin films with x=0.00, 0.25, 0.50, and 0.75 was evaluated by x-ray photoemission spectroscopy measurements. influence oxygen vacancies substitution Bi for La atoms were discussed. In the BLT films, it found that ions at metal-oxygen octahedral much more stable than those [Bi2O2] layers. On other hand, Bi4Ti3O12 (BIT) film, could be induced both titanium-oxygen oxygen-vacancy defect pairs determined BIT Bi3.75La0.25Ti3O12 (BLT025)...

This communication presents a novel label-free biosensing method to monitor DNA hybridization via infrared attenuated total reflection (IR-ATR) spectroscopy using surface-modified ZnSe waveguides. Well-defined carboxyl-terminated monolayers were formed at H-terminated by direct photochemical activation. Chemical activation of the acidic function was obtained succinimide/carbodiimide linkers. The sequential surface modification reactions characterized XPS and IR-ATR spectroscopy. Finally,...
