Abstract In this paper, the instability mechanism of Fe-Al inhibition layer produced by interfacial reaction in Al-containing zinc melts on hydrogen-reduced steel is studied detail. The results show that surface morphology hot-rolled at different temperatures mainly divided into porous and dense states.
