Genetically encoded calcium indicators (GECIs) are mainly represented by two- or one-fluorophore-based sensors. One type of two-fluorophore-based sensor, carrying Opsanus troponin C (TnC) as the Ca2+-binding moiety, has two binding sites for ions, providing a linear response to ions. One-fluorophore-based sensors have four but better suited in vivo experiments. Herein, we describe novel design GECI with sites. The engineered called NTnC, uses TnC inserted mNeonGreen fluorescent protein....

The Polybromo-associated BAF (BRG1- or BRM-associated factors) (PBAF) chromatin-remodeling complex is essential for transcription in mammalian cells. In this study, we describe a novel variant of the PBAF from differentiated neuronal cells, called dcPBAF, that differs canonical existing proliferating neuroblasts. We adult neurons, specific subunit PBAF, PHF10, replaced by PHF10 isoform lacks N- and C-terminal domains (called PHF10D). addition, dcPBAF does not contain BRD7 subunit. binds...

Lactoferrin (Lf) is a multifunctional protein from the transferrin family. Of particular interest ability of Lf to affect wide range neuronal processes by modulating expression genes involved in long-term neuroplasticity. The immediate early gene c-fos that rapidly activated response external influences, and its product, transcription factor c-Fos, widely used as marker plasticity. present study aims examine effect human on induction c-Fos primary mouse cultures after stimulation determine...

Abstract The PBAF chromatin remodeling complex of the SWI/SNF family plays a critical role in regulation gene expression during tissue differentiation and organism development. subunits have domains responsible for binding to N-terminal histone sequences. It determines specificity chromatin. PHF10, specific subunit complex, contains DPF domain, which is unique interaction domain. A PHF10 isoform that lacks domain also present vertebrate cells. This work shows neuronal muscle human mouse...

Chromatin remodelling multiprotein complexes play an important role in regulation of gene expression embryogenesis and the adult organism. Mutations subunits are often lethal or lead to developmental defects. Complexes consist core a specific module. The consists ATPase structure subunits, module necessary for chromatin binding. PHF10 (PHD finger protein 10) is subunit PBAF (polybromo-associated BAF) complex subfamily. Conserved highly regulated ubiquitously expressed mammals as four...
