Abstract Iseropus ( Gregopimpla ) kuwanae Vlereck (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) is an ectoparasitoid wasp that attacks the larvae of Rondotia menciana Moore (Lepidoptera: Bombycidae), which a major pest harming mulberry trees in China. In this study, we obtained antennal transcriptome dataset I . using RNA‐Seq technology. A total 22,090,144 clean reads were generated, and 21,802 unigenes assembled. Among them, 11,546 (52.96%) matched NCBI non‐redundant protein database E ‐value 10 −5 )....
Abstract Glyphodes pyloalis Walker (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) is the main pest of mulberry leaves and causes great losses to sericultural industry in China. Chlorfenapyr a new type arylpyrrole insecticide fields. Uridine diphosphate–glycosyltransferase (UGT) major phase II metabolizing enzymes that play important roles detoxifying toxic substances insects. However, UGT genes against chemical insecticides lepidopteran pests still receive less attention. To better understand mechanism tolerance...
Abstract There is abundant evidence that parasitoids manipulate their hosts by envenomation to support the development and survival of progeny before oviposition. However, specific mechanism underlying host nutritional manipulation remains largely unclear. To gain a more comprehensive insight into effects induced gregarious ectoparasitoid Iseropus kuwanae (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) on greater wax moth Galleria mellonella (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) larvae, we sequenced transcriptome both...
