Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a devastating event, leading to the progression of chronic neuropathic pain syndrome. Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 1 (TREM1) an innate immune neutrophils and monocytes/macrophages. TREM1 enhances inflammatory response in various models diseases, but its significance SCI remains unclear. In present study, we attempted explore effects regulation SCI. contusion was performed wild type (WT) TREM1-knockout (TREM1KO) mice, real time-quantitative PCR...

Liver cancer is a critical clinical condition with augmented malignancy, rapid progression, and poor prognosis. often initiates as fibrosis, develops cirrhosis, results in cancer. For centuries, medicinal plants have been incorporated various liver-associated complications, recently, research has recognized that many bioactive compounds from may interact targets related to liver disorders. Phyllanthin the Phyllanthus species one such compound extensively used by folklore practitioners for...

Nucleus pulposus (NP) apoptosis and subsequent excessive degradation of the extracellular matrix (ECM) are key pathological characteristics intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD). The present study aims to examine signaling processes underlying effects taurine on IDD, with specific focus endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress‑mediated ECM degradation, in NP cells. To clarify role cells were treated various concentrations IL‑1β or thapsigargin (TG). Cell Counting Kit‑8, western blotting, TUNEL,...

Abstract Direct synthesis of diphenyl carbonate (DPC) from phenoxide, CO2 and CCl4 in one pot was realized with ZnCl2 as catalyst. Trichloromethyl cation may act on potassium phenyl carbonate, which brings the carbonyl more easily attached by phenoxide. Onium salts promote reaction greatly, especially phenol instead phenoxide reactants. Moreover, substituent aromatic ring has significant effects selectivity yield carbonate.
