The relationship of visuo-motor ability and school achievement over the 7-yr. elementary period was examined using a longitudinal paradigm in which data were collected on same 73 children at kindergarten, Grades 3 6. Visuo-motor performance measured by Bender-Gestalt, standard tests. Analyses determined patterns age span, considered predictive diagnostic utility Bender for achievement. Results suggest that kindergarten is surprisingly useful predictor educational upper grades.
