An efficient numerical procedure for computing the scattering coefficients of a multilayered sphere is discussed. The stability scheme allows us to extend feasible range computations, both in size parameter and number layers given size, by several orders magnitude with respect previously published algorithms. Exemplifying results, such as diagrams cross-sectional curves, including case Gaussian beam illumination, are provided. Particular attention paid at rainbow angle which approaches based...

Abstract Objective . To develop an augmentation method that simulates cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) related motion artifacts, which can be used to generate training-data increase the performance of artificial intelligence models dedicated auto-contouring tasks. Approach. The technique generates data artifacts typically present in CBCT imaging. simulated pseudo-CBCT (pCBCT) is created using interleaved sequences breath-hold and free-breathing projections. Neural networks for head neck...

Human-object interaction (HOI) synthesis is important for various applications, ranging from virtual reality to robotics. However, acquiring 3D HOI data challenging due its complexity and high cost, limiting existing methods the narrow diversity of object types patterns in training datasets. This paper proposes a novel zero-shot framework without relying on end-to-end currently limited The core idea our method lies leveraging extensive knowledge pre-trained Multimodal Models. This paper is concerned with a probabilistic approach to an optimal switching problem. The dynamics of the system consists set diffusions coupled by finite-state Markov chain. It shown that corresponding value function can be given in terms solution oblique reflected backward stochastic differential equation In many applications, underlying chain exhibits two-time-scale structure. this case, for original problem converge limit as fluctuation rate shrinks zero. main advantage reduction...

Abstract After more than 100 years of development, motion capture technology has been advanced greatly. In the initial stage, was only capable capturing a rough range body movements. But now it is sensitive enough to movement whole body. Motion also developed into different types: optical and non-optical systems including inertial, magnetic, mechanical. There are hybrid depth sensing camera-based systems. Nowadays, with combination arts, computer software internet have become new territory...

Rayleigh model has been proposed to deal with scattering from a small sized chiral sphere. A sphere in size illuminated by electromagnetic waves can be substituted four Hertzian dipoles. Thus the problem is converted radiation problem. The equivalent dipole moments are solved applying boundary conditions of Maxwell equations. Numerical results calculated compared analytical solutions and achieve good agreement. Scattering patterns different chirality parameters depicted effects discussed.
