β-Thalassemia is one of the most prevalent forms congenital blood disorders characterized by reduced hemoglobin levels with severe complications, affecting all dimensions life. The mechanisms underlying phenotypic heterogeneity β-thalassemia are still poorly understood. We aimed to work over metabolite biomarkers improve mechanistic understanding and hence better management disorder at different levels. Untargeted serum metabolites were analyzed after protein precipitation SPE (solid phase...

Herein, we reported mutations in five DNA Damage Repair (DDR) i.e., TP53, ATR, ATM, CHEK1 and CHEK2 involved OSCC using NG-WES their analysis bioinformatics tools. Out of 42 identified mutations, 16.7% are for the 1st time. A total 28 nonsynonymous SNVs identified. TP53 harbored highest number followed by CHEK2. Nine (TP53p.R43H, TP53p.L125Q, TP53p.R116Q, TP53p.C110Y, TP53p.L62F, ATRp.H120Y, ATMp.P1054R, ATMp.D1853V, ATMp.T2934N) were predicted highly pathogenic. SAAFEQ-SEQ destabilizing...

Abstract Background Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a blood malignancy that develops in the bone marrow due to uncontrolled cell proliferation and undifferentiating cells. This fast-progressing cancer has higher percentage of relapses clonal evolution re-emergence resistant clones. Identification relapse associated genetic elements AML remains challenge. In this prospective study, whole-exome sequencing was performed newly diagnosed cytogenetically normal AML. The patients treated with 7 + 3...

The nanoliquid concept has variety of applications toward biomedicine, heat exchangers, cooling electrical devices, foods, and transportation. It is important to add various kinds solid nanoparticles, such as silica, copper, silver, alumina, graphene, gold, so on the base fluids increase thermal efficiency common like engine oil, kerosene water, sodium alginate, etc. This research explores second-order slip flow a Cu-Fe 3 O 4 /H 2 past bi-directional stretching surface. current takes into...

Augmentation of fetal hemoglobin (HbF) production has been an enduring therapeutic objective in β-thalassemia patients for which hydroxyurea (HU) largely the drug choice and most cost-effective approach. A serum metabolomics study on 40 with prior to after administration HU was done along healthy controls. Treated were divided further into non-responders (NR), partial (PR) good (GR) per their response. 25 metabolites that altered before therapy at p ≤ 0.05 fold change >2.0 patients; started...

Virtual screening of an in-house virtual library synthetic compounds using FlexX, followed by enzyme inhibition, identified hydrazide and hydrazine derivatives as novel aspartic protease inhibitors. These inhibited human cathepsin D Plasmodium falciparum plasmepsin-II with low micromolar concentrations (IC(50) = 1-2.5 microM). Modelling studies predicted binding ligands at the centre extended substrate-binding cleft, where hydrazide/hydrazine parts inhibitors acted transition state mimic...

Climate change is becoming a global problem because of its harmful effects on crop productivity. In this regard, it crucial to carry out studies determine crops' response heatwave stress. Response molecular mechanisms during the development and ripening mango fruit (Mangifera indica L. cv. Chaunsa White) under extreme heatwaves were studied. Mango flowers tagged fruits 18, 34, 62, 79, 92 days after flowering (DAF) as well 10 15 postharvest shelf life studied through RNA-Seq metabolome...
