Party regulation in new democracies general, and the Spanish political system particular, has not been a matter of concern until very recently. In order to fill this gap, article explores way parties have regulated only Constitution, but also main laws regulating party foundation, organisation, dissolution and, least, funding: namely, 1978 2002 Political Laws as well 1985 2007 Funding Laws.
