This paper presents results of statistical analysis RTN in highly scaled HKMG FETs. A robust algorithm to extract multiple-trap is proposed and applied show that can cause serious variation even when undoped channel are introduced. We further focus on hysteretic behavior caused by with time constants much longer than the circuit timescale. reveals also induces novel instabilities such as short-term BTI logic delay uncertainty. Extraction SRAM arrays presented discuss its impact operational stability.
Asymmetric membranes, which mimic the structure and functions of human skin, have been extensively pursued as ideal skin tissue engineering constructs. In this study, we demonstrated that nanostructured asymmetric membranes can be prepared by self-organization chemically heterogeneous bilayer electrospun in aqueous solutions. Structurally, layer consists hydrophobic β-glucan butyrate nanofibers its inner hydrophilic acetate nanofibers. After electrospinning process, both layers are a dense...
The composition in ferroelectric oxide films is decisive for optimizing properties and device performances. Controlling a distribution these by facile approach thus highly desired. In this work, we report solution epitaxy of PbZrxTi1−xO3 with continuous gradient Zr concentration, realized competitive growth at ~220 °C. These intriguing demonstrate frequency-independent dielectric permittivity below 100 kHz from room-temperature to 280 particular, the can be largely regulated 50 slightly...
Al-alloys incorporating Mn, Cr and Zr, tailored for powder bed fusion-laser beam processes with solubilities three times equilibrium have recently been developed that yield a high strength. Mn Cr-enriched precipitates form during printing heat treatment influence the material's mechanical properties hence making it important to understand their kinetics. In this study, direct imaging of these was accomplished through utilisation in situ synchrotron-based scanning X-ray fluorescence. During...
To understand the effect of surface machining on resistance AISI 316L to SCC (stress–corrosion cracking) in marine environments, we tested nuts surface-machined by different methods a seawater-spraying chamber. Two forms cracks were observed: machined and underneath it. On surface, connected with pitting sites observed propagate perpendicular hoop-stress direction, identifying them as stress–corrosion cracks. Under catastrophic transgranular developed, likely driven hydrogen embrittlement...
Nanoparticle assemblies with long-range packing order and preferred crystallographic orientation of building blocks, i.e., mesocrystals, are high interest not only because their unique physical properties but also due to complex structure morphogenesis. In this study, faceted mesocrystals have been assembled from the dispersion truncated cubic-shaped iron oxide nanoparticles stabilized by oleic acid (OA) molecules using nonsolvent "gas phase diffusion technique" into an organic solvent. The...
Inconel 718 is one type of nickel-based alloy used for a large range applications, including gas turbines and aeroengines components. Although mechanical thermodynamic properties this material have been deeply studied in the past years, method able to investigate local thin white layer formed on surface after machining remains challenging. Here, 90 nm X-ray beam probe strain, crystal orientation, chemical composition grains layer. Data reveals mosaicity induced by tool during machining. The...
The increasing demand for portable and flexible energy storage devices drives the development of electrodes electrolytes. aim this work is to fabricate free-standing polyaniline/poly (vinyl alcohol) (PANI/PVA) composite electrode with good capacitance performance shape memory behavior. were fabricated by chemical oxidation polymerization aniline in porous PVA (P-PVA) films. morphology, electrochemical mechanical properties PANI/P-PVA studied scanning electron microscope, cyclic voltammetry,...
ABSTRACT Solid‐state polymer supercapacitors (SSP‐SCs) have vast potential for future development due to their compact, safe, environment‐friendly, and facile designing. Thus, prevalent researches been explored in this area. In article, poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) SSP‐SCs were assembled by using poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene)/carbon paper (PEDOT/CP) as electrodes polyvinyl alcohol/sulfuric acid/potassium iodide (PVA/H 2 SO 4 /KI) the gel electrolyte. The effect of KI content...
Surface engineering of chromium-oxide-passivated alloys (e.g., stainless steels) by low-temperature infusion interstitial solutes (carbon, nitrogen) from a gas phase requires “surface activation” removing or perforating the passivating oxide film. We demonstrate new approach for surface activation based on pyrolysis reagent powder, introduce advanced methodology to study its microstructure, and compare it an established method. Rather than bare alloy surface, stripped oxide, we find that...
ABSTRACT Poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) film has been prepared on conductive carbon paper (CP) substrates by unipolar pulse electrochemical deposition. The effects of different polymerization parameters, including potential and width, deposition frequency, duty cycle the capacitance PEDOT films, were studied cyclic voltammetry in 0.5 M sulfuric acid solution. PEDOT‐coated CP electrode was characterized scanning electron microscopy Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy to confirm...
