Space-time block codes (STBCs) from coordinate interleaved orthogonal designs (CIODs) offer several advantages including full-diversity and single-symbol decodability. In an effort to assess their performance in quasi-static frequency nonselective i.i.d. Nakagami-m fading channels, we analyze the error rate, outage capacity, information probability. An efficient combined maximum likelihood (ML) and decision feedback equalization (DFE) decoding method is proposed for a coded double space-time block code orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DSTBC-OFDM) system. For the missing bit log ratios (LLRs) in DFE part, our detector effectively exploits Gaussian approximated LLRs with reference to colored noise covariance matrix. Simulation results demonstrate that can achieve comparable performance full ML detectors deterministic lower complexity.

In this correspondence, we evaluate the symbol error rate (SER) and information outage probability (IOP) of space-time block codes (STBCs) from coordinate interleaved orthogonal designs (CIODs) in composite channel lognormal shadowing Rayleigh fading. By applying Gauss-Hermite quadrature integration, derive an accurate closed-form approximation for pairwise (SPER) corresponding tight upper lower bounds on SER STBCs CIODs. An approximate formula IOP is also derived by formulating squared...
Network topology has no direct effect on the correctness of network protocols, however, it influences performance networks and their survivability when they are under attack. Recent studies have analyzed robustness Internet in face faults or attacks which may cause node failures. In this paper, we propose an attack-and-failure graph model practical...
A novel quasi-orthogonal space-time block code (QSTBC) with full-diversity full-rate transmission and double-symbol decoding is proposed for a system four transmit antennas, which constructed by linearly combining two optimally power-scaled component Alamouti codes. Compared the existing QSTBC optimal constellation rotation, provides excellent robustness, in terms of bit error rate performance, against spatially correlated and/or time-selective fading channels.

In this paper, we propose QR-decomposition-based unordered/ordered decorrelating decision-feedback detection (D-DFD) schemes with linear or D-DFD symbol estimators for a double space-time transmit diversity (D-STTD) system. The time-selective fading mobile channel severely degrades the performance of conventional detectors, since time-selectivity destroys orthogonality codeword. Moreover, complexity known symbol-by-symbol detectors is too high to be implemented, due multiple inversions....
By combining transmit diversity and spatial mul- tiplexing schemes, a double space-time (D- STTD) system achieves both gain increased data rate. However, the performance degradation of D-STTD is caused by channel time-selectivity due to high Doppler spread effect in wireless mobile fading channels. To overcome this problem, we propose computationally efficient zero-forcing (ZF) detection scheme. The detector exploits two effective filtering processes with no matrix inversion. Therefore, it...
