Abstract Two related searches for phenomena beyond the standard model (BSM) are performed using events with hadronic jets and significant transverse momentum imbalance. The results based on a sample of proton–proton collisions at center-of-mass energy $$13\,\text {Te}\text {V} $$ 13Te , collected by CMS experiment LHC...

A search for invisible decays of the Higgs boson produced via vector fusion (VBF) has been performed with 101 fb$^{-1}$ proton-proton collisions delivered by LHC at $\sqrt{s} =$ 13 TeV and collected CMS detector in 2017 2018. The sensitivity to VBF production mechanism is enhanced constructing two analysis categories, one based on missing transverse momentum, a second properties jets. In addition control regions Z W candidate events, highly populated region, photon association jets, used...

A bstract search for heavy neutral leptons (HNLs), the right-handed Dirac or Majorana neutrinos, is performed in final states with three charged (electrons muons) using proton-proton collision data collected by CMS experiment at $$ \sqrt{s} s = 13 TeV CERN LHC. The correspond to an integrated luminosity of 138 fb − 1 . HNLs could be produced through mixing standard model neutrinos...

An inclusive search for same-sign top-quark pair production in pp collisions at $ \sqrt {s} = 7 TeV is performed using a data sample recorded with the CMS detector 2010, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35 pb−1. This analysis motivated by recent studies \text{p}\bar{\text{p}} \to \text{t}\bar{\text{t}} reporting mass-dependent forward-backward asymmetries larger than expected from standard model. These could be due Flavor Changing Neutral Currents (FCNC) top sector induced...

Measurements of inclusive isolated-photon and photon+jet production in proton-proton collisions at s=13TeV are presented. The analysis uses data collected by the CMS experiment 2015, corresponding to an integrated luminosity 2.26 fb-1 . cross section for isolated photon is measured as a function transverse energy fiducial region. same region with identical requirements highest momentum jet. All measurements agreement predictions from next-to-leading-order perturbative QCD.
