Children and young patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) are at persistent risk of gingivitis despite usual preventive measures. This clinical study aimed to determine the efficacy an intensive oral programme (OPP) for CKD in treating plaque-induced modified by systemic factors.
Patients diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) do not necessarily have to undergo intensive treatment.
