Abstract A sulfur‐linked carbonyl‐based poly(2,5‐dihydroxyl‐1,4‐benzoquinonyl sulfide) (PDHBQS) compound is synthesized and used as cathode material for lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs). Flexible binder‐free composite with single‐wall carbon nanotubes (PDHBQS–SWCNTs) then fabricated through vacuum filtration method SWCNTs. Electrochemical measurements show that PDHBQS–SWCNTs can deliver a discharge capacity of 182 mA h g −1 (0.9 cm −2 ) at current rate 50 potential window 1.5 V–3.5 V. The...

The various sizes (15, 30, 80, and 100 nm) of nano-SiO₂/potato starch films were synthesized characterized. gas permeability, antibacterial properties, mechanical properties the evaluated to their potential for application as food packaging materials. Results indicated that nm nano-SiO₂ was well dispersed in matrix, which induced an active group on surface adequately combined with macromolecule. water resistance improved addition nano-SiO₂. Notably, ultraviolet thermal aging also enhanced....

Active packaging films were prepared by adding red cabbage anthocyanin extract (RCAE) into acetylated distarch phosphate (ADSP). This paper investigated the influence of interaction relationship between RCAE and film matrix on structure, barrier, antioxidant release properties active films. Sixteen principal compounds in identified as anthocyanins based mass spectroscopic analysis. Micromorphological observations indicated that distribution uniformity decreased content increased. When...

Amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC) is the most important intermediate phase in nucleation/crystallization process of CaCO3, and thus proper interpretation how ACC transforms into final crystals at molecular level crucial to understand various biomineralization phenomena. Herein, we successfully monitored moisture-induced crystallization via situ FTIR spectroscopy, which very sensitive specific changes different vibrational modes carbonates water molecules. In combination with tools...
