Two derivatives salicylidene-4,6-(dimethylamino)pyridine (KM1) and salicylidene-5-bromo-4,6-(dimethylamino)pyridine (KM2) reactive to excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) were synthesized as a strategy produce white light diodes with small organic molecules. White color resulted from the presence of both normal (420 nm) tautomeric (550–580 species emission. The photophysical features N* T* unveiled in solution solid state. ESIPT mechanism revealed influence near attack...
Abstract We report a rapid, efficient, and scope‐extensive approach for the late‐stage electrochemical diselenation of BODIPYs. Photophysical analyses reveal red‐shifted absorption – corroborated by TD‐DFT DLPNO‐STEOM‐CCSD computations color‐tunable emission with large Stokes shifts in selenium‐containing derivatives compared to their precursors. In addition, due presence heavy Se atoms, competitive ISC generates triplet states which sensitize 1 O 2 display phosphorescence PMMA films at RT...
The study reported herein describes the synthesis of benzothiadiazole (BTD)-N-heterocycle derivatives by metal-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions with relatively good yields.
Abstract The impact of the polymeric matrix on photophysical characteristics monomeric dyes responsive to excited‐state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) was investigated through UV–Vis absorption as well steady‐state and time‐resolved emission spectroscopies. For this purpose, two benzoxazole monomers (M1 M2) with acryloyl groups at different positions in their molecular structures were employed facilitate covalent bonding within a styrene chain. Our findings reveal significant...
Understanding charge-carrier injection, transport, recombination, and resonant energy transfer in a host:guest system is crucial for achieving solution-processed OLEDs close to their theoretical efficiency limit.

This work describes the photophysical properties of new salicylidene derivatives which undergoes excited state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) and role solvent polarity specific interactions with dyes. These observations were obtained by steady-state time-resolved electronic absorption fluorescence techniques. Salicylidene synthetized Schiff’s condensation using an acid catalyst they characterized successfully 1H 13C NMR, FT-IR, HRTOF-MS single-crystal X-ray diffraction studied...
This study describes the synthesis, photophysical characterization, and TD-DFT calculation of a series benzothiazole-based styryl fluorophores (F1-F5) harboring D-p-A structure. The compounds were obtained through simple efficient synthetic route using costless starting materials. investigation analysis their properties enable assessment effect four substituted benzothiazole moieties (A) two types p-conjugated frameworks (phenyl vs thiophene) in solution solid state. disclose absorption...
