In this paper, we present the analysis of dielectric (dielectric constant, loss, a.c. conductivity) and electrical properties (I–V characteristics) pristine nitrogen ion implanted polycarbonate. The samples polycarbonate were with 100 keV N+ ions fluence ranging from 1 × 1015 to 1017 cm−2. measurements these performed in frequency range kHz MHz. It has been observed that constant decreases whereas loss conductivity increases increasing fluence. An real imaginary parts permittivity elucidated...

Abstract The present endeavor investigates the controlled surface modifications and evolution of self-assembled nano-dimensional defects on oblique Ar + sputtered Si(111) surfaces which are important substrates for reconstruction. defect formation started at off-normal incidences 50° then deflates into defined zones with decrease in incidence, depending strongly angle ion incidence. Interestingly, it is observed that mean size & height decreases while average density these increases...

Effect of 130 keV argon ion implantation on surface morphology and structural properties polypropylene (PP) at various fluences have been studied using RBS UV-Visible Spectroscopy techniques. It has found that there is an increase in the carbon concentration from 33 at.% (virgin) to 46 near region PP 1 × 1016 Ar+cm−2 as per RUMP simulation. Also, composition, depth profiling, projected range investigated. The observed morphological changes points towards carbonization implanted layer...
