Considerations for reducing global carbon emissions are influencing the development of solid sorbents such as activated carbons dioxide (CO2) capture. Adsorption efficiency often relies on method preparation and starting or source materials. The use agricultural wastes date seeds regarded cost- effective options to produce However, there has been no published study potentials synthesized In preparing (AC) from by physical activation technique, this reports effects pyrolysis temperature time...

African swine fever virus (ASFV) is the cause of a highly contagious and fatal disease in domestic swine, but no vaccine or effective medicine available so far, therefore, looking for novel anti-ASFV agent very imperative mission. Silver nanoparticles (SNPs) have been recently emerged as antiviral agents against numerous viruses, but, their activity ASFV has not investigated. In this study, ability SNPs was reported. The microbial contamination pig house significantly reduced by spraying SNP...

Metal oxides and their composites have been extensively studied as effective adsorbents for the removal of heavy metals from aqueous solutions in environmental remediation. In this work, Cu0.5Mg0.5Fe2O4 was synthesized by a co-precipitation method followed calcination (900 °C) investigated Pb(II) adsorption. The resultant samples were characterized various analytical techniques including X-ray diffraction, N2 adsorption-desorption, scanning electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis,...

In this paper, an amino-functionalized adsorbent for CO2 capture was synthesized by impregnating 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) on mesoporous silica. Amino functional groups were chemically bonded to silica support. Because of chemical bonds, the thermal stability (205 °C) greater than that prepared polyethylenimine same (160 °C). The cyclic loading capacity improved increasing adsorption temperature, reaching a maximum 89.3 mg CO2/g at 100 °C and then reduced temperatures above °C....

In this study, a novel and facile one-step method using CO2 for the preparation of amino-functionalized mesoporous silica capture application was introduced. 3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES, 30 wt % in water) first bubbled with then mixed sodium silicate to produce silica. Three adsorbents, namely, precipitated adsorbent (PSA), silicagel (SGA), condense (C-SGA), were synthesized by tuning pressure when preparing absorbed APTES solution aging temperatures obtained hydrogel, respectively....

Abstract Household post‐consumer flexible plastic (PCFP) consisting of films and bags is currently unattractive for recycling because contamination. The success strategy depends on the selection compatibilizers fillers; however, their influence properties resulting products has not been systematically reviewed. This review will analyze impact mechanical composites provide fundamental guidelines fillers. addition virgin polymer or copolymer improves elongation at break composite, but it...

Abstract In this study, we report the effect of moisture polyethylenimine (PEI) impregnated mesoporous precipitated silica used for CO 2 adsorption on heat capacity and required to regenerate adsorbent. The results indicate that absorbent increases as its content increases. increase in rise vaporization water elevated higher sensible heat. For these reasons, total regeneration capture process significantly. adsorbent has a maximum at 75 °C. using PEI requires minimum energy adsorbent; it...
