Hydrophilic and amphiphilic polymeric trithiocarbonates based on polyacrylic acid are able to provide polymerization-induced self-assembly in copolymerization of butyl fluoroalkyl acrylates.
Abstract Emulsifier‐free batch emulsion polymerization of n ‐butyl acrylate and its semi‐batch copolymerization with 2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5‐octafluoropentyl 2,2,3,4,4,4‐hexafluorobutyl both mediated by poly(acrylic acid) containing the trithiocarbonate group in chain was employed to produce amphiphilic triblock copolymers. The polymerization‐induced self‐assembly these copolymers aqueous media gave rise spherical core–shell particles. Irrespective experimental conditions, polymeric product...
The regularities of dispersion radical polymerization n-butylacrylate in water-alcohol medium under the action polymer tritiocarbonates based on copolymers acrylic acid and N-isopropylacrylamide have been investigated. conditions for formation a block copolymer with controlled molecular weight high yield found. stable suspensions unimodal particle size distribution determined.
Heterophase polymerization of styrene was carried out and polystyrene nanocomposite microspheres with controlled content ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized. The colloid-chemical properties the resulting polymer suspensions studied. It shown that particles have a core-shell structure 30%.
