Carbene coinage metal carbazolates are currently the most efficient organometallic TADF emitters. Herein we report on photophysical influence of introducing a [2.2]paracyclophane moiety via carbazolophane ligand instead carbazolate, which greatly enhances radiative rate constants by factor three to 1-3·106 s-1 for triplet exciton emission.
