The HAIR-AN syndrome is a rare multisystem disorder in women, that consists of hyperandrogenism (HA), insulin resistance (IR) and acanthosis nigricans (AN). IR likely due to primary defect the receptor. We report case 25-year-old Caucasian woman with syndrome, impaired glucose tolerance (IGT), mild hyperlipemia, hypertension, associated sclerodermatous skin changes on extremities trunk. Though scleroderma may coexist other autoimmune diseases, its presentation has not yet been described.
