The spinel has been prepared at low temperature using a new sol‐gel process. X‐ray diffraction analysis reveals that the obtained material presents cubic structure with unit cell parameter lower than of stoichiometric . photoelectron spectroscopy confirms divalent state doped nickel in material. Furthermore, compound can intercalate second lithium both chemically and electrochemically, leading to formation same structure. This only one plateau around 3 V vs. large discharge capacity 160...
The electrochromism of amorphous V 2 O 5 thin films prepared by the vacuum evaporation powder was studied through optical absorption, XPS and SIMS measurements. were colored bleached with aid an electrolyte consisting lithium perchlorate (LiCLO 4 ·3H O) in propylene carbonate (CH 3 CHOCOOCH ). as-grown yellow, like powder, while greenish-gray, VO powder. spectra 1s 2p3/2 core levels matched those similar to measurement revealed that Li + ions are introduced into coloration expelled...
Main text This report describes the fourth CCM key comparison in capillary viscometry among twelve National Metrology Institutes (NMIs), of which, nine NMIs maintain an independent viscosity scale and three do not scale. The was carried out between January 8th 2018 April 30th 2018. Two samples Newtonian liquids with nominal kinematic viscosities 170 mm 2 /s at 20°C, 65 40°C 10 100°C for sample A 000 10°C 4 600 20°C 120 B. Both were prepared by CENAM provided to each one participants NMIs....
We have measured the Raman scatterings of V 2 O 3 and (V 0.985 Cr 0.015 ) in temperature range between 300 600 K. The frequencies A 1 g phonon modes show some softening recovery with a minimum at 480 K region high transition. Those decrease monotonically temperature. ratio scattering intensity lowest frequency E mode to lower decreases . On other hand, is relatively independent These experimental results are discussed light two-bands crossing model proposed by Zeiger for transition lines due...
We have performed molecular dynamics calculations of liquid carbon disulfide and benzene, intending to examine the effect pressure on far-infrared collision-induced absorption as well local structure reorientational dynamics. The reproduced experimental results correlation times at pressures, anisotropy density dependence dipole moments their time derivatives both liquids. Contributions various interaction terms were examined a function density. that benzene decreases those changes little...
Uncertainty evaluations for kinematic viscosity measurements using a series of capillary master viscometers are given, based on model equations considering precise corrections the U-tube-type used at National Metrology Institute Japan (NMIJ). Results viscometer constant calibrations NMIJ scale calibrated by stepping up to high viscosities, and standard liquids with temperatures from −40 °C 100 °C, evaluated in detail. The relative expanded uncertainties k = 2 0.04% 0.17% range 160 000 mm2 s−1.
We present that the tractional flow of a lubricant shows three kinds limiting shear stresses at which take place independently rates in its viscous, viscoelastic, and glassy states. propose models on mechanisms for stresses, based data Brillouin spectra viscosity viscoelastic liquids previously reported by us deformation polymers referred from others. The measured up to 5 GPa 25 80 °C show we could not observe frequency dispersion sound waves below 0.8 °C, while can above 0.1 MPa owing...

The far-infrared optical constants of liquid acetonitrile, carbon disulfide, and tetrachloride were determined from transmission measurements with a synchrotron radiation source at the Institute for Molecular Science (Okazaki). small size was benefit to transmittances that suited an analysis based on theory. From acetonitrile temperatures ranging 238 343 K, both absorption coefficients refractive indices obtained by using subtractive Kramers–Kronig relation proposed Jones co-workers. dipole...
The Brillouin spectra of di(2-ethylhexyl) sebacate, which is a liquid lubricant known as DOS, were measured at up to 5 GPa 25 °C and 2.5 80 °C. At °C, the frequency linewidth (acoustic attenuation) has large maximum 0.1 MPa, it broad 0.8 GPa. shift (sound velocity) obtained indicate that dispersion sound velocities DOS occurs from MPa origins this attenuation are discussed on basis theory for viscoelastic liquid. It proposed acoustic due production higher-rank structures with nano-order...
In this paper, a new high-pressure viscosity measurement system using capillary method is reported. system, two pressure balances are used to generate stable and flow field in the capillary. The volumetric rate was measured by calculating change piston fall rate. To check effectiveness of method, bis(2-ethylhexyl) sebacate at pressures up 200 MPa. Differential had linear relationship all temperature conditions, indicating that Hagen–Poiseuille law can be applied method. viscosity–pressure...
This paper proposes a hybrid-type system for microvibration isolation. The hybrid is composed of passive spring-damper which reduces vibrations high-frequency area and an active one those low-frequency area.
Far-infrared collision-induced absorption of liquid benzene, hexafluorobenzene, and 1,3,5-trifluoro- benzene were measured at pressures room temperature with a synchrotron radiation source. The zeroth second spectral moments the bands obtained as function pressure. dipole their time derivatives from for these liquids previously carbon disulfide tetrachloride. induced-dipole decrease increasing pressure studied except which moment is nearly independent This in probably caused by increase...
This report describes the third CCM key comparison in capillary viscometry at twelve National Metrology Institutes (NMIs), which was carried out between October 2012 and February 2013. Seven NMIs, do not maintain an independent viscosity scale, also took part this comparison. Three samples of Newtonian liquids with nominal kinematic viscosities 6 mm²/s 15 °C 5 20 °C, 2000 500 40 160000 25000 prepared by NMIJ were provided to each NMIs. For these two temperatures, total number 98 measurements...
Gamow‐Teller (GT) transitions can be studied in both β‐decay and charge exchange(CE) reactions. If isospin is a good quantum number, then the Tz = −1→0 +1→0 GT mirror transitions, are identical. Therefore, comparison of results from studies β decay CE should shed light on this assumption. Accordingly we have −1 fp‐shell nuclei, 54Ni, 50Fe, 46Cr, 42Ti, produced fragmentation compared our with spectra (3He, t) measurements +1 target nuclei high resolution at RCNP, Osaka. The experiments were...
The half-lives of the Tz = -2, 56Zn and -1, 58Zn isotopes other nuclei were measured in a {\beta}-decay experiment at GANIL. energy levels populated by {\beta} decay determined. results are compared with mirror process, charge exchange reaction 56Fe(3He,t)56Co.
The contour effect of a magnetic head was analyzed by the finite element method, and new type with reduced fabricated on basis simulation described in this paper. Few studies have used method. core shape position shielding case were simulated to improve effect. following results obtained: (1)the level depends mainly both size case; (2)the phase shape; (3) less than 5 dB frequency range from 20 Hz 50 Hz.
