An unusual zero-dimensional quaternary sulfide, Ba(23)Ga(8)Sb(2)S(38), that crystallizes in the noncentrosymmetric polar space group Cmc2(1) was discovered by solid-state reaction of an elemental mixture. The involvement a second building unit consisting SbS(3) pyramid and constituting 20% structure helped to realize disconnection asymmetric GaS(4) tetrahedra. Such leads strongest powder harmonic generation intensity IR region among sulfides date, ~22 times commercial AgGaS(2) at incident...

This study presents an innovative approach to design room temperature phosphorescent (RTP) carbon dot composites with ultralong afterglow lifetimes in both solid and liquid states. The proposed composites, namely, L-NCDs-BA (solid) L-NCDs-SiO2 (liquid), were synthesized through a straightforward hydrothermal method. composite achieved lifetime of 1.63 s, while the demonstrated notable 1.30 s. These values surpass most reported nonmetallic RTP materials date. Morphological structural analyses...

This paper presents the design and implementation of a novel matrix-friendly genetic algorithm (MGA) based population input memristor circuit. Selection, crossover mutation operations can be efficiently implemented in MGA by utilizing unique properties memristors. The proposed circuit performs well solving binary nonconvex function optimization problems. Through extensive simulations comparisons with classical algorithms, our method improves about 4.24% on average exploring optimal fitness...

Abstract Multi‐resonant thermally activated delayed fluorescent (MR‐TADF) materials, which combine large oscillator strengths, small singlet‐triplet energy gaps, high photoluminescence quantum yields, and color purity, have attracted great interest in both experimental theoretical research recent years. However, the differences between two classes of MR‐TADF, utilizing carbonyl groups boron atoms as acceptors respectively, not been clearly delineated, implementation strategies combining is...

In this paper, we designed a memristive spiking neural network (MSNN) to perform fully functional Pavlov experiment. A memristor with forgetting effect is adopted implement synapses while Izhikevich neurons are used for generating tonic and bursting signals. An asymmetric linear time dependent plasticity (STDP) naturally formed by taking into account the activation difference between pre-synaptic neurons. Our design realizes associative, correcting, processes without learning rule control...

Memristor is a natural synapse because of its nanoscale and memory property, which influences the performance memristive artificial neural networks. A three-variable memristor model simplified with 15 kinds properties, including learning experience, forgetting curve, spiking time-dependent plasticity (STDP), rate dependent (SRDP), integration property. Through analysis model, one more unobserved property called pseudo-polarity reversibility predicted by assuming long-term independent memductance.
