This paper documents the sixteenth data release (DR16) from Sloan Digital Sky Surveys; fourth and penultimate phase (SDSS-IV). is first of southern hemisphere survey Apache Point Observatory Galactic Evolution Experiment 2 (APOGEE-2); new APOGEE-2 North are also included. DR16 notable as final for main cosmological program Extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (eBOSS), all raw reduced spectra that project released here. includes Time Domain (TDSS) SPectroscopic IDentification...
We present the second data release for HI-MaNGA programme of HI follow-up observations SDSS-IV MaNGA survey. This contains measurements 3669 unique galaxies, combining 2108 Green Bank Telescope with an updated crossmatch sample ALFALFA combine these spectroscopic to examine relationships between HI-to-stellar mass ratio (M_HI/M_*) and average ISM/star formation properties probed by optical emission lines. M_HI/M_* is very weakly correlated equivalent width Halpha, implying a loose connection...
Abstract Infrared (IR) studies of asymptotic giant branch (AGB) stars are critical to our understanding the formation cosmic dust. In this investigation, we explore mid- far-IR emission oxygen-rich AGB star RT Virginis. This optically thin dusty environment has unusual spectral features when compared other in its class. To enigmatic object use one-dimensional radiative transfer modeling code DUSTY. Modeled spectra with observations from Space Observatory, InfraRed Astronomical Satellite,...
A new multicamera soft x-ray detector system has been constructed for the pumped divertor phase of JET to provide improved spatial and temporal resolution. It is based on 12 compact pinhole cameras each which uses a 35 element PIN photodiode array. The are housed in secondary vacuum view plasma through beryllium windows 250-μm-thick absorb x rays with energies below ∼2 keV. front-end electronics, located up 10 m away from detectors, sample data at 250 kHz, 100 kHz passband. diodes operated...
