SUMMARY: This novel hybrid single-double-single barrel (1-2-1) design for fibula free flap reconstruction addresses the unique challenges presented by Brown Class III mandibular defects, which involve long-span defects at both bodies of mandible and chin. The importance this lies in its ability to overcome limitations traditional approaches terms height pedicle length, while optimizing functional esthetic outcomes. technique utilizes a combination segments achieve ideal esthetics support...

Abstract Background Computer-assisted surgery has transformed the approach to jaw resection and reconstruction in recent years. However, extensive time technical expertise needed for planning creation of patient-specific implants guides have posed significant challenges many surgeons field. This study introduces a novel algorithm designed streamline traditionally intricate time-consuming Computer-Aided Design (CAD) process developing (PSIs). Methods The requires three-dimensional (3D) model...

Background: Computer-assisted surgery in head and neck reconstruction yields predictable favorable clinical outcomes. However, there is a lack the optimal arrangement of fibula bone segments to re-establish function aesthetics maxilla. Methods: This study proposed novel anatomical landmark-guided strategy for virtual surgical planning (VSP) infrastructure maxilla using free flap. The positioning was validated with retrospective study. Patients who underwent computer-assisted maxillectomy...

Purple sweet potato pigment is a natural food pigment, the stability important to its quality assurance. The effects of metal ions on purple were investigated. results showed that Mg2+and Fe3+ conductive pigments in initial storage, and with concentration increased, was more stable. But K+, Ca2+, Na+, Cu2+, Mg2+ had brought color density, intensity preservation rate down long-term storage.
