Sol–gel coatings with different roughness and surface energy were prepared on glass substrates. Abstract The mechanical and tribological properties of epoxy composites modified with microencapsulated wax lubricant multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were investigated. increased soft microcapsules embedded in the matrices responsible for reduced micro-hardness Young’s modulus composites.
