BES1 and BZR1 were originally identified as two key transcription factors specifically regulating brassinosteroid (BR)-mediated gene expression. They belong to a family consisting of six members, BES1, BZR1, BEH1, BEH2, BEH3, BEH4. bes1 bzr1 single mutants do not exhibit any characteristic BR phenotypes, suggesting functional redundancy these proteins. Here, by generating higher order mutants, we show that quintuple mutant is male sterile due defects in tapetum microsporocyte development...

Abstract Histone deacetylases ( HDAC s)‐mediated epigenetic mechanisms play critical roles in the homeostasis of histone acetylation and gene transcription. inhibitors have displayed neuroprotective properties animal models for various neurological diseases including Alzheimer's disease ischaemic stroke. However, some studies also reported that enzymes exert protective effects several pathological conditions stress. The mixed results indicate specific each protein different diseased states....

Abstract Ferrocene (Fc) as a privileged framework for chiral organocatalysts (Orgcat) has been developed rapidly in recent years. Herein, five categories have summarized, including Fc‐based nucleophilic, bifunctional, Brønsted acid, hydrogen‐bonding and frustrated Lewis pairs. Their applications enantioselective transformations were also highlighted discussed this Minireview.

The synthesis and detailed characterization of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) inside human hair has been achieved by treatment with HAuCl(4) in alkaline medium. AuNPs, which show a strong red fluorescence under blue light, are generated the fiber arranged cortex remarkably regular pattern whorls based on concentric circles, like fingerprint. It opens an area genuine nanocomposites novel properties due to AuNPs shaft.

Convenient synthesis and useful application of a series Josiphos-type binaphane ligands were described. The iridium complexes these chiral diphosphines displayed excellent enantioselectivity good reactivity in the asymmetric hydrogenation challenging 1-aryl-substituted dihydroisoquinoline substrates (full conversions, up to >99% ee, 4000 TON). use 40% HBr (aqueous solution) as an additive dramatically improved induction catalysts. This transformation provided highly efficient...

Downy mildew poses a significant threat to kimchi cabbage, vital agricultural product in Korea, adversely affecting its yield and quality. Traditional disease detection methods based on visual inspection are labor intensive time consuming. This study proposes non-destructive, field-scale approach using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based hyperspectral imaging. Hyperspectral images of the cabbage field were preprocessed, segmented at pixel level, classified into four categories: background,...

The production of IFN- I (IFN-α/β) is one the earliest and most important host-protective responses. Interferon regulatory factor 3 (IRF3) a critical transcriptional in IFN-β signaling pathway. Although significant progress has been achieved regulation IRF3, process may be more complicated than previously considered. In present study, heat shock protein 60 (HSP60, HSPD1) was identified as novel IRF3-interacting protein. Overexpression HSPD1 facilitated phosphorylation dimerization IRF3...
