The high activity of metallic magnesium and alloys limits its potential in biomedical applications; recent years, extensive efforts have been devoted to modulating this reactivity. In work, we present Mg(OH)2 TiO2 barrier coatings reduce the degradation alloy (Mg-Ca-Zn) surfaces. Sobre la superficie de aleación magnesio AZ61 se aplicaron recubrimientos sol-gel basados en el precursor GPTMS-TMOS, incluyendo como agentes dopantes L-Cysteína y ZrO2 diferentes concentraciones. Su resistencia a corrosión estudió solución 0,6M NaCl, por inmersión hasta 14 días.
