Pd–Pt bimetallic nanocrystals have become appealing in the electrocatalytic field by virtue of their synergy effects derived from electronic coupling between two metals. Herein, a facile seed-mediated growth approach is reported for synthesis Pt-on-Pd dendritic nanosheets (DNSs) through Pt branches on ultrathin Pd (NSs). The as-obtained DNSs exhibit superior catalytic activity toward both oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and methanol oxidation (MOR), with mass activities (MAs) 2.2 times...

A facile dual-mode sensor based on CuO nanorod-decorated hemin-graphene was constructed for the detection of 4-aminophenol (4-AP). In addition, a smartphone-based assay developed, which opened new path on-site 4-AP.

Abstract Herein, poly (diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA) functionalized gold nanoparticles/graphene (AuNPs/Gr) composites were prepared by the one‐pot method under simple, rapid and mild conditions. The nanocomposites combined excellent conductivity electrocatalytic performance of Gr AuNPs. Based on above advantages, an outstanding electrochemical sensor was constructed to detect sunset yellow (SY) tartrazine (TZ) simultaneously. Under optimum conditions, linear response ranges for SY...

In this work, two‐dimensional magnetic chitosan nanosheets (CSMNSs) for azo dye adsorption were successfully synthesised by a simple hydrothermal method. The as‐prepared CSMNSs was characterised scanning electron microscope, transmission microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and vibrating sample magnetometer. Then, the as adsorbent applied to removal of two kinds dyes (methyl orange amido black). effect solution pH dosage, isotherm, kinetics...

A rapid and facile colorimetric sensor based on CuO nanorods decorated hemin functional graphene nanocomposite (CuO/H-Gr) for determination of Bisphenol F (BPF) was successfully developed. The as-prepared CuO/H-Gr showed superior peroxidase-mimic property than that individual H-Gr CuO, which attributed to their synergistic catalytic effect. It could catalyze chromogenic substrate 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) by H 2 O form blue-colored products. In the presence BPF, performance...
