Solar evaporation offers a promising approach to drive the distillation process, and nanotechnology may help overcome operational issues such as salt fouling. Here, we discuss opportunities presented by salt-rejecting solar enhance sustainability of desalination. Within this framework, phase diagrams crystallization physics are first revisited understand transitions water well formation growth crystals. We then examine salting-out salt-free evaporating systems toward better The techniques be...
In this report, we summarized recent advances in solar evaporation for both steam and power generation. This emerging technology would be valuable to build the hybrid systems clean water renewable energy supply.
This paper presents a concept of sustainable development from the perspective ecosystem services and analyzes some existing problems in service assessment. It also proposes concepts landsense, landsense creation (LC) general landsenses ecology order to expand research application ecology, discusses relationships among creation, development. In view these definitions, this puts forward three approaches for i.e. using an carrier, transforming carrier or building new by integrating visions into...
Abstract As one of the world's largest chemical products, ammonia (NH 3 ) plays a vital role in industry, agricultural production, and national defense. In modern NH is produced primarily through high‐temperature high‐pressure Haber–Bosch process, which consumes large amounts energy releases greenhouse gases. Electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) under ambient conditions has been widely considered among many fixation methods, can be using renewable energy. However, main...
In this work, we report a simple and thoroughly green approach to prepare photoluminescent carbon nanodots (C-dots) using soya bean grounds as source without any chemical additives. The obtained C-dots with an average diameter of 3.0 nm or so exhibited excellent biocompatibility typically multicolor fluorescence. practicality for NIH3T3 cells imaging was validated, treated became bright showed different colors under excitation wavelength.
This report summarizes experimental advances in, as well the physical understanding of, development of carbon-enabled nanogenerators for water-energy nexus and illustrates their key features electricity generation.
This report provides a perspective on photoelectrochemical water splitting by leveraging the advantages of both plasmonics and semiconducting light-absorbers.
