The influence of the hardener (polyaminoamide) and nanofillers (mixture TiO2 Al2O3 nanooxides) on thermal protective ablative properties epoxy resin (Epidian 52) was investigated. composites were exposed to exhaust gases at temperatures above 1900°C for 120 s. A statistical analysis results obtained performed. best thermo-protective showed composite based cured with (mass ratio epoxy/hardener = 1:1) 5 vol% nanoparticles mixture containing 80% 20% TiO2.
Research performed by the author in last decade led him to a revision of his older analytical models used for description and evaluation abrasive water jet (AWJ) cutting. The review has shown that power 1.5 selected traverse speed thirty years ago was influenced precision measuring devices. Therefore, correlation results calculated from theoretical model with experiments then an increasing exponent above value derived base. Contemporary measurements, more precise devices, show suitable is...
The aim of this study is namely investigation the abrasive water jet (AWJ) cutting column pieces on commercial x-y machines with AWJ. shape deformation in curved and/or stepped parts trajectories caused by both trailback (declination angle) and taper (inclination cut walls) can be calculated from submitted analytical model. Some results were compared data measured samples two types tables. main motivation determination percentage difference between predicted real distortion product, i.e....
Material structure is one of the important factors influencing abrasive waterjet (AWJ) machining efficiency and quality. The force measurements were performed on samples prepared from two very similar steels with different thicknesses heat treatment. austenitized at 850 °C, quenched in polymer tempered various temperatures between 20 °C 640 °C. resulting states material substantially differed strength hardness. Therefore, these are ideal for testing response to AWJ. chosen test possible...
The concrete samples with various erosion states simulating road or bridge damage were disintegrated by pure continuous water jets generated from pressure 380 MPa and pulsing low 30 MPa. of prepared applying several laboratory techniques the aging under conditions corresponding to use in practice. influence state on disintegration rate was tested because jet are very effective selective damaged without significant unbroken unlike pneumatic drills other impacting machines usually used for...
Measurements enabling the online monitoring of abrasive waterjet (AWJ) cutting process are still under development. This paper presents an experimental method which can be applicable for evaluation AWJ quality through measurement forces during process. The force measuring device developed and patented by our team has been used on several metal materials. results show dependence to deformation ratio relative traverse speed. Thus, data may help with a better understanding interaction between...
The necessity of monitoring the abrasive waterjet (AWJ) processes increases with spreading this tool into machining processes. forces produced on workpiece during can yield some valuable information. Therefore, a special waterjet-force measuring device designed and in past has been used for presented research. It was tested AWJ cutting processes, because they are most common best described up-to-date applications. Deep studies both process respective force signals led to decision that...
The paper is aimed at abrasive water jetting of non-corroding steels treated by cryogenic temperatures in liquid nitrogen. investigation cut walls shows that influence material structure and respective properties. This research focused on improvement reliability various states production systems operation conditions.
