In March 2008, a 19-year-old woman required emergency liver transplantation due to acute-on-chronic failure. No living donor candidate was available. A marginal deceased that had been rejected by all the other centers offered. The belonged 93-year-old and contained hydatid cyst. Because of low donation rates in our country, we chose accept liver. postoperative early late courses were fortunately uneventful. Liver transplantation is the lifesaving treatment option for rare acute liver failure that develops due to iatrogenic bile duct injuries or after major hepatectomy.
