The detailed polarized spectroscopic investigation of I11∕24 and I13∕24 states Er3+ ions in Czochralski-grown NaLa(MoO4)2 single crystals doped with codoped Ce3+ as a function cerium concentration is presented. main results room-temperature lifetime show that the reduces by about 50 times from solely Er-doped sample to crystal 50at.% Ce, while same experimental conditions, level less than two most heavily Ce sample. This result looks very promising point view obtaining low-threshold 1.5-μm...
The composition of microparts sodium-gadolinium molybdate crystals, grown by the Czochralski method in different atmospheres from stoichiometric ((Na0.5Gd0.5)MoO4; group I) and nonstoichiometric ((Na2/7Gd4/71/7)MoO4 (II.1) (Na6/15Gd8/151/15)MoO4 (II.2); II) initial charge compositions (where = vacancies), was refined X-ray diffraction analysis. All crystals under investigation were found to crystallize space I41/a without any signs structural modulation crystal compositions. Crystals I had a...
The influence of the charge treatment by ultrahigh dilution (UHD) technology on oxide single crystals grown Czochralski technique was studied for monoclinic MgMoO4 doped 1 at. % Nd3+ ions. series 10 Nd:MgMoO4 from charges that were subjected to UHD treatment, as well treated with two types control or no special at all. X-ray powder diffraction analysis, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy, mass-spectrometry, optical absorption, spectroscopy and luminescence kinetic...
The growth of series actual laser crystals belonging to dierent structural types by the Czochralski method is presented. The primary attention given single crystalline compounds and their solid solutions with garnet structure (scandium-containing rare-earth garnets general formula {LnSc}3[ScMe]2Me3O12, Me = Al, Ga) as well olivine (forsterite Mg2SiO4) scheelite (double tungstates molybdates NaLn(TO4)2, where T Mo or W).The broad bands luminescence absorption produced activator ions in these...
New potential ytterbium-doped laser crystals-disordered scheelite-like double sodium-gadolinium tungstate NaGd(WO4)2 and sodium-lanthanum molybdate NaLa(MoO4)2, had been grown by Czochralski technique. Polarized absorption fluorescence spectra as well decay kinetics measured for these crystals, doped with Yb3+ ions. Gain cross-section different population inversion of 2F5/2 level calculated.
Two-micron lasing is obtained for the first time on 3F4 → 3H6 transition of Tm3+ ions in diode-pumped crystals mixed sodium — lanthanum gadolinium tungstate Tm:NaLa1/2Gd1/2(WO4)2 (CTm = 3.6 at %) (3.6Tm : NLGW) and molybdate Tm:NaLa1/3Gd2/3(MoO4)2 4.8 (4.8Tm NLGM). For 3.6Tm NLGW crystal, quasi-cw laser output power exceeded 200 mW slope efficiency (with respect to absorbed pump power) π- σ-polarisations wavelengths 1908 1918 nm was 34% 30%, respectively. The wavelength this crystal...
Thulium-doped magnesium molybdate single-crystal (Tm3+:MgMoO4) was grown by the Czochralski method (melting point: 1322 °C). The actual Tm3+ doping level measured to be 0.1 at.% (the segregation coefficient only 0.02). Tm:MgMoO4 belongs monoclinic class (sp. gr. C2/m, lattice constants: a = 10.2769(2) Å, b 9.2898(5) c 7.0269(4) β 106.898(6)°). thermal expansion tensor of this crystal is determined. Its conductivity also at 50–300 K (at room temperature, it amounts 2.64 Wm−1K−1). Polarized...
Lasing is obtained in Tm3+-doped sodium—gadolinium tungstate NaGd(WO4)2 crystals longitudinally pumped by pulses from a laser diode bar. The slope lasing efficiency 16%. was observed at wavelengths of 1957, 1944, 1936, and 1901 nm for the transmission coefficients output mirror Tout = 0.3%, 1.4%, 3.3%, 8.5%, respectively.
The spectral and lasing characteristics of a Nd3+:NaLa(MoO4)2 crystal longitudinally diode-pumped without pump-wavelength stabilisation are studied. A variation in the output power did not exceed 30% when pump wavelength was changed region from 0.794 to 0.811 μm.
In this work we present the growth and spectroscopic investigation of Er3+ in CaWO4 single crystals. polarized absorption has been measured at room temperature from UV to 1700nm, fluorescence most important emitting states visible infrared recorded 10 300K two possible polarizations. The lifetimes lower lying excited have as a function evaluate contribution nonradiative decay processes. spectra enabled us determine radiative by means Judd-Ofelt approach. stimulated emission cross section...
