This study describes the first species of Charops Holmgren, 1859 from Brazil: C. angelicae sp. nov., eduardoi katiae lucianae mariae mucioi nov. and terezae An emended diagnosis this genus is presented, updated with characters observed in Brazilian species; its known geographical distribution expanded illustrated maps.
