Abstract The laser-induced damage threshold (LIDT) of plate laser beam splitter (PLBS) coatings is closely related to the subsurface absorption defects substrate. Herein, a two-step deposition temperature method proposed understand effect substrate impurity on LIDT PLBS coatings. Firstly, BK7 substrates are heat-treated at three different temperatures. surface morphology and defect distribution before after heat treatment compared. Then, coating consisting alternating HfO 2 –Al O 3 mixture...

We report on an 800 nm center-wavelength metal/multilayer-dielectric grating (MMDG) with broadband, high diffraction efficiency. The trapezoidal ridge consists of HfO2 layer sandwiched between two SiO2 films. Combining the advantages and HfO2, reduces difficulties attainment. For such a configuration, high-performance MMDG can be successfully fabricated using existing technology. Experimentally we demonstrated 163 bandwidth -1st-order efficiency greater than 90%. achieved performance as...

Ultralow-absorption laser films have critical applications in high-power continuous-laser and gravitational-wave-detection systems. During film deposition, the ionic oxygen concentration significantly affects absorption loss of film. In this study, Ta2O5 monolayers were deposited using an ion-assisted electron beam evaporation technique, weak at 1064 nm, temperature rise, optical band gap, element content, binding energy tested analyzed. The structure microdefects characterized, their...

From the perspective of empathy theory, this study focuses on process entrepreneurship education to explore mechanism between teacher-student empathic relationship and psychological connection. Entrepreneurship aims provide talent support innovative development society. Previous studies have focused educational significance promoting entrepreneurial intention, few paid attention differentiation caused by incomprehension teachers students. By conducting three experiments cognitive shaping...

A normal-incidence nonpolarizing guided-mode resonance filter is designed. There are two waveguide layers and one grating layer in the filter. By adjusting distance between layers, same wavelength for both TE TM polarization can be achieved. An antireflection design method also used to decrease sideband reflection of The results show that has high reflection, more than 99.9% at 500 nm, FWHMs TE- TM-polarized light 2.16 0.15 respectively.

355 nm high-reflective multilayer coatings with or without coevaporated interfaces (CEIs) were prepared by electron beam evaporation under the same deposition condition. Their transmission spectra, surface roughness, and mechanical stress properties evaluated. Elemental composition analysis of was performed using x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, laser-induced damage thresholds obtained in both 1-on-1 300-on-1 testing modes.
