Thin films of antimony sulfide have been deposited from chemical baths containing trichloride and sodium thiosulfate maintained at 10°C. Upon annealing in nitrogen 300°C for 1 h, the become photosensitive with photo‐ to dark‐current ratio two three orders magnitude tungsten halogen radiation. The annealed are crystalline an X‐ray diffraction pattern matching that stibnite, , (JCPDS 6‐0474) show optical bandgap 1.78 eV. Deposition a thin film CuS on subsequent 250°C h produces acceptable...

Recent advances in the functionalization of graphene (G) and oxide (GO) using classical coordination complexes, as well σ- π-organometallic compounds precursors, are discussed. Graphene can form hybrids via covalent or non-covalent interactions with metal complexes carboxylates, amines, polypyridine compounds, a host N,O-containing ligands, porphyrins, phthalocyanines, carbonyls, cyclopentadienyls, pyrene-containing moieties, other aromatic structures. The hybrid constructs interesting for...

Abstract The most recent data on experimentally undiscovered carbon allotropes, predicted by the Density Function Theory (DFT), are reviewed. Classic graphenes, nanotubes, fullerenes and their hybrids being studied using DFT related methods, resulting a host of potentially existing forms based 5‐, 6‐, 7‐member cycles distinct combinations. Also known cyclocarbons large clusters, nanobelts nanoribbons, liquid, metallic, semiconductive superhard carbons, which could exist under high or low...
