In this article a rational ball cubic B-spline representation based image interpolation scheme is proposed with tension parameter to interpolate two dimensional natural images. Genetic algorithm used detect the optimal value of parameter, so that sum square error minimum. Comparison among and existing techniques in terms some state-of-the-art quality metrics classical Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), depicts suggested form produces better results more suitable for problems related interpolation.
