ZnO-SnO2 thin films are deposited by rf sputtering using a sintered oxide target. As-deposited show different crystal structures of hexagonal ZnO, spinel type intermediate compound Zn2SnO4 or an amorphous experimental conditions. The higher than 80% transmissivity over the visible range and their lower side absorption edge is less 320 nm. electrical resistivity as sputtered about 5.0 × 10−2 Ω cm decreased up to 1.7 vacuum annealing due rapid increase both, oxygen vacancies carrier...

An energy-domain 57Fe-Mössbauer spectrometer using synchrotron radiation (SR) with a diamond anvil cell (DAC) has been developed for ultrahigh-pressure measurements. The main optical system consists of single-line pure nuclear Bragg reflection from an oscillating 57FeBO3 single crystal near the Néel temperature and X-ray focusing device. can filter Doppler-shifted narrow bandwidth neV order broadband SR source. focused incident X-rays make it easy to measure small specimen in DAC. present...

The effect of Li addition to Mg on synthesis Mg-Ti BCC alloys by means ball milling was studied. Mg–x at%Li (x=4,20,46) prepared the induction melting method consisted HCP phase (Mg-type), + (Li-type) and phase, respectively. Lattice parameters decreased with increase in x, whereas those at x=20 46 were smaller than that Li. Ti milled for 50–200 h an argon atmosphere. Formation Mg96Li4Ti100 alloy confirmed X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements after 50 milling. By Mg, time shortened. made...
