In this work, the effect of graphene oxide nanosheet (GONS) additives on properties cement mortar and ultra-high strength concrete (UHSC) is reported. The resulting GONS-cement composites were easy to prepare exhibited excellent mechanical properties. However, their fluidity decreased with increasing GONS content. UHSC specimens prepared various amounts GONSs (0–0.03% by weight cement). Results indicated that using 0.01% caused a 7.82% in compressive after 28 days curing. Moreover, adding...
This study comparably assessed the pozzolanic effect of silica fume (SF) and ground rice husk ash (RHA) as supplementary cementing materials on properties blended cement pastes concretes. A commonly commercial locally-produced samples with two finenesses (one larger size than other smaller cement) were used in this study. Material SF RHA experimentally characterized. Hydration mechanical incorporating determined by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) compressive strength tests, respectively....
The effects of the water-binder ratio and different graphene oxide (GO) sizes on mechanical properties GO-cement composites were systematically studied by preparing mortars. scanning electron microscopy observation (SEM) surface fracture cement pastes was carried out to study morphology hydration crystals in systems under space conditions. It found that GO nanosheets significantly improved compressive, flexural, tensile strengths When dosage 0.03% weight cement, at 28 days increased 21.37%,...
In this work, the effect of addition multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) on mechanical properties and durability ultra high strength concrete (UHSC) is reported. First, MWCNTs were dispersed by a nano sand-mill in presence surfactant water. The UHSC specimens prepared with various amounts MWCNTs, ranging from 0% to 0.15% weight cement (bwoc). Results indicated that use an optimal percentage (0.05% bwoc) caused 4.63% increase compressive 24.0% decrease chloride diffusion coefficient at 28...
Increasing evidence has shown that the expression of circular RNAs (circRNAs) can affect drug sensitivity cells and significantly influence efficacy. Therefore, research into relationships between circRNAs drugs be great significance in increasing comprehension function, as well contributing to discovery new repurposing existing drugs. However, it is time-consuming costly validate function circRNA with traditional medical methods. development efficient accurate computational models assist...
The production of cement leads to a large amount CO2 emission. Using industrial waste slag, such as ceramic polishing powder (PP), replace part Portland can reduce the pollution caused by industry and solid disposal. In order use PP replacement for cement, its effects on properties paste need be clarified. this study, effect nucleation growth hydrates in at very early ages was investigated. Quartz used reference. interactions their surface with various ions solution, which has an important...
The increasing body of research has consistently demonstrated the intricate correlation between human microbiome and well-being. Microbes can impact efficacy toxicity drugs through various pathways, as well influence occurrence metastasis tumors. In clinical practice, it is crucial to elucidate association microbes diseases. Although traditional biological experiments accurately identify this association, they are time-consuming, expensive, susceptible experimental conditions. Consequently,...
Flat supercontinuum generation has been demonstrated in high nonlinear fibers with zero dispersion wavelengths at 1480 and 1500 nm, which were pumped by a MOPA structured Er/Yb co-doped fiber amplifier based on modulated nanosecond seed laser the wavelength of 1552 nm. The spectra output powers affected wavelengths, lengths pump pulse widths investigated experimentally. A flat spectrum 5 dB bandwidth from 1220 nm to beyond 1700 (assuming peak was filtered) optical analyzer detectable range...
In order to resolve the conflict of high performance and cost for a continuous wave (CW)-pumped supercontinuum (SC) source under low-power pumping conditions (less than ∼20 W), cascaded-fiber configuration short photonic crystal fiber (PCF) low-cost conventional is proposed replace long high-cost PCFs. By cascading 60 m nonlinear with 90 PCF pumped by 24 W CW laser, higher-quality SC 10 dB bandwidth 230 nm 5 176 demonstrated. This also has maximum output power 13.9 W. Both spectral...
Drug repositioning (DR) is a strategy to find new targets for existing drugs, which plays an important role in reducing the costs, time, and risk of traditional drug development. Recently, matrix factorization approach has been widely used field DR prediction. Nevertheless, there are still two challenges: 1) Learning ability deficiencies, model cannot accurately predict more potential associations. 2) Easy fall into bad local optimal solution, tends get suboptimal result. In this study, we...
This study was to investigate the hydration characteristics and cementious properties of pyrolytic steel slag(PSS). Initially, PSS pastes were made determine results indicated that activity with 6.4% gypsum content stronger than paste pure PSS. Afterwards, compressive strength mortars tested showed cement 0% 30% replacement satisfied requirements index class 80% at 28 days. As an activator, supiror calcium hydroxide in performance.
This paper investigates the mechanical properties and fire resistance of steel-polypropylene hybrid fiber-reinforced concrete. The type polypropylene fibers are monofilament fiber, fibrillated macro steel is hooked fiber. experimental results show that compressive strength, splitting tensile strength flexural steel-macro fiber reinforced concrete better than any others. And steel-monofilament best.

One of the main objectives this study was to activate pozzolanic activity sludge, produced by municipal sewage treatment plants (MSTP), which makes it become an admixture replace a part cement in cement-based materials. Nowadays, significant quantity MSTP sludge is obtained China, and disposal presents rising challenge for environment, reason why paper examines possibility adding waste product activated thermal (Incineration) mechanical (Grinding) treatment. Meanwhile, changes crystalline...
