The effect of chitosan-oil coating on the postharvest quality and shelf life shiitake (Lentinus edodes) mushrooms stored at 4 ± 1 °C for 16 days was investigated. Mushroom weight loss, firmness, total phenolics, ascorbic acid, malondialdehyde (MDA), electrolyte leakage rate, microbial sensory were measured. results indicate that treatment with maintained tissue inhibited increase respiration reduced microorganism counts, such as yeasts molds pseudomonad, compared to control treatment....

Auxin and auxin signaling are involved in a series of developmental processes plants. Response Factors (ARFs) is reported to modulate the expression target genes by binding response elements (AuxREs) influence transcriptional activation down-stream genes. However, how ARF function flower development fruit ripening papaya (Carica L.) largely unknown. In this study, comprehensive characterization profiling analysis 11 C. (CpARF) was performed using newly updated reference genome data.We...

Papaya (Carica papaya L.) is a commercially important fruit crop. Various phytohormones, particularly ethylene and auxin, control ripening. However, little known about the interaction between auxin signaling during ripening process. In present study, we determined that CpARF2 CpEIL1 mediates to regulate in papaya. We identified ethylene-induced response factor demonstrated it essential for interacts with an signal transcription CpEIL1, thus increasing CpEIL1-mediated of ripening-associated...

Mangoes often suffer from low temperature-induced chilling injury (CI) during postharvest cold storage. Therefore, advanced techniques are crucial and in high demand to solve the stress of mango fruit for a higher value. This study addresses modulation by investigating effects melatonin treatment on CI, proline metabolism, related gene expressions 'Keitt' storage after dipped 0 (control), 0.1 (MT1), 0.2 mmol L−1 (MT2) solution 30 min. The results revealed that MT1 significantly reduced CI...

Uterine leiomyomas (fibroids) are benign tumors that prevalent in women of reproductive age. Research suggests activated receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) play an important role the enhanced proliferation observed fibroids. In this study, a phospho-RTK array technique was used to detect RTK activity compared with myometrial tissue. We found fifteen out seventeen RTKs evaluated study were highly expressed (P < 0.02–0.03) leiomyomas, and included IGF-I/IGF-IR, EGF/EGFR, FGF/FGF-R, HGF/HGF-R,...

Lysine crotonylation of histone proteins is a recently-identified post-translational modification with multiple cellular functions. However, no information about lysine non-histone in fruit cells available. Using high-resolution LC-MS/MS coupled highly sensitive immune-affinity antibody analysis, global proteome analysis papaya (Carica L.) was performed. In total, 2,120 5,995 sites were discovered, among which eight conserved motifs identified. Bioinformatic linked crotonylated to metabolic...
